This is where the action happens. Our largest and most popular pond is fully stocked with healthy, fast-swimming trout, raised right here on the farm. The water is crystal clear thanks to our natural spring source, which keeps the fish active and the fishing fresh all season long.

Ideal for: Families, groups, first-time fishers
Fish size: .75lbs on average, with some larger trophies
No license required – just pay for what you catch

-All fish caught must be kept

Where Stories Begin

The Big Lake

Tucked just beyond the main catching pond lies the heart of Lake Julian, the Big Lake. This spring-fed gem is where serious anglers come for a challenge, and where generations of families have made some of their fondest fishing memories.

The Big Lake isn’t just bigger in size, it’s deeper, colder, and stocked with some of our largest trout. The colder water from the natural springs keeps the fish feisty and fresh year-round. If you’re looking to land a lunker, this is the spot.

Larger, deeper, and spring-fed
Stocked with trophy-sized trout and catfish (fewer overall fish)
Offers a more relaxed, spacious fishing environment
Popular with returning guests seeking a peaceful challenge.
The experience feels more like “true” lake fishing vs. pond fishing
